Presented By Referred o Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date WHEREAS, the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement has requested the City Council to hold a public hearing to consider the advisability and necessity of the correction or wrecking and removal of the following described building, said structure having been reported to constitute a public hazard: 1813 Reaney Lot 7, Block 7 Garage of (Garage only) Au�ora Addition to wood frame the City of Saint Paul construction WHEREAS, it appears that the last record owners of said build- ing as of December 5, 1979 are as follows: William Hammes and �elen Hammes, husband and wife, and Clara Hammes as Tenants in Common. There are no mortgages of record. The subject property has not been boarded; b. This building has a badly deteriorated roof with missing shingles and boards; c. The building appears structurally unsound; d. The conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard; e. The owners have made no attempt to satisfactorily repair the damage; f. The continued vacant and hazardous condition contributes a blighting influence on the neighborhood; now, therefore, be it, RESOLVED, That in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 through 463.25, and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following Order: ORDER 1. Unless such corrective action is taken to comply with this Order or an answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the District Court of Ramsey County, Minnesota within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of this Order, a Motion for summary enforcement of this Order to raze and remove the said building will be made to the Ramsey County District Court; 3. In the event that the building is to be razed by the City of Saint Paul pursuant to judgment of the District Court, all personal property or fixtures of any kind whic h may unreasonably int erfere with the razing and removal of this building shall be- renoved within ten (10) days from the entry of judgment; and if not so x�moved, the City of Saint Paul shall remove and dispose of such personal property and fixtures as provided by law; 4. If the City of Saint �Paul is compelled to take any corrective action herein, all necessary costs expended by the City will be assessed against the above described real estate and collected as other taxes; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution and in- corporated Order herein be served upon the last record owners of the above de�cribed property in the manner provided by law.
