WHEREAS, Louis G. De hlars has announced his retirement from the
Minneapolis City Council after serving for eight and one-half years ; and
V�HEREAS, Louis G. De Mars consistently supported programs to
redevelop and renew commercial and industrial areas of Plinneapolis ,
and the rennovation and rehabilitation of neighborhood housing stock; and
WHEREAS, Louis G. De P1ars vigorously supported a wide range of
legislative measures that would establish , preserve, and protect basic
human rights for all people; so, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Council , on its own behalf and on behalf of
the people of St. Paul , extends to Louis G. De P1ars its sincere
appreciation for his unselfish service and dedication; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Council extends to Louis G. De Mars
and his wife, Nancy, its warm congratulations and best wishes for
continued success in all his future endeavors.
