01-116CouncIl File # • �� RIGI�IAL Presented By Refened To Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a 2 tasicab driver's license to successfully complete a tasicab driver training course as a prerequisite 3 for licensure; and 4 5 WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) pemuts an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license 6 which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at 7 which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and 9 WHEREAS, Dahir Shire was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of LIEP 10 and was notified of the tasicab driver training course to begin on November 6, 2000, but failed to 11 attended and successfully complete the taxicab driver training course; now, therefore, be it 12 13 RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 20000004657) issued to 14 Dahir Shire is hereby revoked for failure to attend and successfully complete the required tasicab 15 driver training course.
