WHEREAS, the City's Budget Review Committee has reviewed the
proposed budgets of the City for 1980 and has submitted recommendations
concerning the improvement and betterment of City operations; and
WHEREAS, The Budget Review Committee has recommended that the
elevators in the City Hall and Court House be automated and that personnel
displacement be given consideration; and
WHEREAS, The recommendation involving the automation of these
elevators has been concurred in by the Council 's Committee on Finance,
and the Corr�nittee recomnends the same to the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the Joint City Hall and Court House Committee has the
responsibility and duty to maintain and operate the City Hall and Court
House, including the operation of elevators and placement of personnel ;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
recomnend that the Joint City Hall and Court House Corrranittee proceed to
evaluate the automation of the elevators with a view to implementing
this recormnendation.
