RE: Cl.aim against the City of Saint Paul and Officers
James Blakey and George Meyer, Jr. by Steven
Joseph Skiba
The cl.aimant, 5teven Joseph Skiba, requests reimbursement for
damages for injuries he sustained on December 18, 1976 as a
result of an altercation with two St. Paul Police Officers.
The claimant was originally stopped for going through a red light.
He tore up the traffic citation and drove away with the
Of£icers in pursuit. The Officers eventually forced his car
to the curb and forceably removed him. The claimant suffered
damage to his car, his glasses were broken, and he incurred
medical expenses as a result.
The office approves the settlement of this claim in the amount
of $800. 00.
