Villaume, III ��� f�i" Assistant City Attorney ���� DATE: October 1, 1979 RE: Cl.aim against the City of Saint Paul and Officers James Blakey and George Meyer, Jr. by Steven Joseph Skiba The cl.aimant, 5teven Joseph Skiba, requests reimbursement for damages for injuries he sustained on December 18, 1976 as a result of an altercation with two St. Paul Police Officers. The claimant was originally stopped for going through a red light. He tore up the traffic citation and drove away with the Of£icers in pursuit. The Officers eventually forced his car to the curb and forceably removed him. The claimant suffered damage to his car, his glasses were broken, and he incurred medical expenses as a result. The office approves the settlement of this claim in the amount of $800. 00. �O
