RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of St. Paul , a financing agreement with the Village
of Maplewood and Ramsey County for the joint funding of storm drainage facilities
constructed adjacent to the White Bear Avenue-�arpenteur Avenue intersection as a
portion of the Flandrau-Hoyt Sewer Improvements Project S-1635, whereby Maplewood
will pay $15,000, Ramsey County will pay $45,000, and St. Paul will pay $30,000
for construction of full roadway width stormwater inlet grating structures.

1 ) . Most of the storm water entering St. Paul at this intersection originates in Maplewood
and Ramsey County roads.
2) . Consultant study recommended full width gratings to intercept heavy storms. .
3) . Discussions with Ramsey County ansi Maplewood indicated their acceptance to participation
in a joint funding agreement.
4) . Due to urgency of construction, contract award funding was provided by St. Paul with
reimbursement within one year by Maplewood and Ramsey County.
