01-115��E��L RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Council File # � � _ � � �j GreenSheet# �p�.p'.js Sa Presented By Referred To Committee: Aate 1 WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a 2 taYicab driver's license to successfully complete a taxicab driver h course as a prerequisite 3 for licensure; and 4 5 WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license 6 which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a trauring class, at 7 which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the ciass; and 8 9 WHEREAS, Vemon Powers was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of 10 LIEP and was notified of the tasicab driver training course to begin on November 6, 2000, but 11 failed to attended and successfully complete the tasicab driver training course; now, therefore, be 12 it 13 14 RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 19970000222) issued to 15 Vernon Powers is hereby revoked for failure to attend and suceessfully complete the required 16 tasicab driver trauung course.
