WHEREAS, recent concerts at Midway Stadium have caused commun3.ty
concern on noise, litter, traffic, disturbances and security, be 3.t
RESOLVED, that a moratorium be declared on all, concerts at M3.dway
Stadium for the remainder of 1979, and be it further
RESOLVED, that a task force be appointed by the Mayor and approved
by the City Council to determine if concerts should continue at
Midway Stadium and under what conditions. The task force shall
include but not be limited to representat3ves from the District �.0
and District 11 Community Councils, the Parks & Recreation Dept. ,
the Mayor's Office, the Police Dept. , the City Counci�., the C3v3.c
Center Authority, the Midway Business Association, and the Concert
Promoters Industry.
