WHEREAS, the St. Paul City Council Legislation Committee and
Finance, Management & Personnel Committee, has reviewed the
franchise fee, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the St. Paul City Council supports the concept of
a gradual reduction of the franchise fee rate on utility supplies
provided to residential homeowners during the months of November
through April, and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the City Council supports the passage of legislation
during the 1979 Session of the State Legislature.

WHEREAS, the City' s Legislativ program is before the State
Legislature; and
WHEREAS, Senate File 1211 relatin to the City of Saint Paul,
fixes the rate of the fra hise fee for utility supplies
to residential dwellings in a way beneficial to the
residents of Saint Paul;
Now, Therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul goe on record in support
of Senate File 1211, as attached.
