RE: Attached Agreements and Resalution
Attached is an original and thr�e copies of four separate agree-
ments with the auto dealerships noted on the resolution.
A Coun.cil resolution is needed to authorize these agreements
because of the City' s agreeing to hold these firms harmless for
claims arising out of leased motor vehicle usege by the City.
Sergeant Thomas R�ding of the Saint Paul Police Department is
the contact person rega�iding these agreements.

WITNESSETH: .
. IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE SUPPLIER AND THE
CITY AS FOLLOWS: '
1. That at all times Supplier will keep the terms and condi-

4. That in consideration of the use_ of Supplier's vehicle(s)
the City agrees to pay Supplier the sum of seven dollars ($7.00) per
day, per vehicle, to maximum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per �
month, per vehicle. .
5. That the City agrees to save and hold Supplier harmless .
from any and all cla�ims arising out of the City's use of vehicles
hereunder and shall, additionally, repair at its own expense any �
damage sustained by the vehicles during the course of City's use, ,
normal wear and tear excepted. �
6. That the City shall be responsible for supplying each ve- -
hicle rented hereunder with such amounts of gasoline and oil as
is needed to make the vehicle operational, but no other mai.ntena�ce
obligations shall be the responsibility of the City.
7. That the City will not use any vehicle for a period of
� more than sixty (60) days without Supplier's consent, but the City .
' reserves the right to request and receive from Supplier a replace-
ment veh,icle of a type and make as above-described at any time;
