� 1if�REAS, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation Engineer, has
secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described as follows:
The East One Hundred Fifty Six and twenty-five hundredths
(E. 156.25) feet of Lot two (2) except the East Thirty-one
and twenty-five hundredths (E. 31.25) feet thereof, John
M. Warners Acre Lots, aecording to the recorded plat thereof
on file and of record in the Office of the Register of Deeds
� oP Ramsey County Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the praperty herein described is necessaxy for storm water ponding
purposes and was approved for acquis3tion on December 15, 1977 by Final Order,
Council File No. 270208. The price at which the property may be purchased is in
!the a.mount of $9,000.00, it being a fair and reasonable price for the sub�ect property
�accord3ng to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation Engineer; and
WI�REAS, the Valuation Engineer has recommended the purchase of said property
at the price stated above; now, therefore be i�
RESOLVID, that the Council of the City nf Saint Paul does hereby authorize the .
purchase of the above described land; and be it
F'[JRTHER RESOLVID, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and
directed to pay Minnesota Federal Savings & Loan Association of St Paul, record
owner and Hermione M. and Elizabeth L. Schmidt, Contract Vendees, the sum of ;
$9,000.00 the conditions of said sale contained in the Menorandum for the Sale of
Rea1 Estate, dated January 25, 1979; said memorandum is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference. Said sum to be charged to P.I.R. Fund No. 60000-711-000(L-8152)
to be reimbursed from 1975 W.P.A.F.
FURTHER RESOLVID, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter
� into a lease agreement between the City and Hermione M. and Elizabeth L. Schmidt
for the property as shawn on the plan which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference. Said property to be leased by the seller for $150.00 per year.
Seller to pay property taxes on saa.d leased property.
