01-1078QRIGI�IAL CITY Ptesented by Referred To Council File �0�� 01E Green Sheet # 13 G S'3 �� Committee Date 1 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Tiger 7ack Rosenbloom had for over 50 years owned and operated a small well-known Z retail shop (Tiger 7ack's) at St. Anthony Avenue and Dale Street that provided goods, services and stabllity to the 3 residents of the area; and 4 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Tiger JackRosenbloom ha�e also shaped the community by their involvement in business and neighborhood activities; and 6 WHEREA5, members of the community affected by the positive acrivities of Mr. and Mrs. Tiger Jack Rosenbloom 7 desire to recognize and memorialize this retail site as a historic component of the neighborhood; now therefore be 8 it 9 RESOLVED, that the City estabiish an ad hoc committee to study the feasibility of inemorializing the Tiger Jack 10 Rosenbloom retail site by preserving the existing structures now present on the site; Be it fixrther 11 RESOLVED, that the committee be made up of Councilmember 7erry Blakey, Mrs Tiger Jack Rosenbloom, Lucky 12 Rosenbloom and a City of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation employee to be named at a later date.
