WHEREAS, The health and welfare of the St. Paul City Council is of an
importance to positive City government; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota has passed adequate Clean Indoor Air Acts for the
protection and rights of all citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the St. Paul City Council enact a positive directive to
ban smoking in the City Council Chambers and the St. Paul City Council
Committee Rooms; and be it further
RESOLVED, That we endorse the concept of No Smoking by City Offic3.als
in City public meetings.
