An Administrative Re solution revising the minimum
qualifications in the Class Specification for the title
of Affirmative Action Technician in the Civil Service
Rule s.
RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended by striking
from Section 32 the Class Specification for the title of Affirmative Action
Technician, and by substituting in lieu thereof, the attached Class Spec-
ification for the title of Affirmative Action Technician.

Serves as liaison witli groups or organizations concerned with affirn�ative
action or human rights progress and programs.
Assists in developing handbooks, brochures and other materials relating to
equal employment oppartunity laws, regulations, guidelines and policies
of the Citq of Saint Paul.
Assists in conducting sensitivity programs and other educational programs
in the area of human rights for nanagers and employees.
riaintains records and prepares reports; assists in the preparatian of th�
Affirmative Action Quarterl}� Report.
Collects, analyzes and interprets data gathered in the course of survey
checks.
Assists in communicating with City contractors and subcontractors regarding
non-discrimination and the City's commitment to such a program.
Collects, campiles and evaluates data on minority firms available to prov�,de
