An Administrative Resolution approving the terms
and conditions of the 1979�1980 Memorandum of
Settlement between the City of St. Paul and the Twin
City Iron Workers, Local 512.
WHEREAS, the Council pursuant to the provisions of Section 12. 09
of.the St. Paul City Charter and the Public Employees Labor Relations
Act of 1971, as amended, recognizes the Twin City Iron Workers, Local.
512, as exclusive representati�'e for those classes of positions within the
City of St. Paul certified by the Bureau of Mediation Services under Case
No. 73-PR..507-A for the purpose of ineeting and negotiating the terms and
conditions of employment for all full-time personnel in the classes of
positions as set forth in the Agreement between the City and the exclusive
representative hereinabove referenced; and
WHEREAS, the City, through designated representatives, and the
exclusive repre sentative have met in good faith and have negotiated the
terms and conditions of employment for the period May 1, 1979, through
April 30, 1981, for such personnel as are set forth in the Agreement between
the City of St. Paul and the exclusive representative; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Memorandum of Settlement, cited above, dated
as of the effective date of this Resolution, between the City of St. Paul and
the Twi.n City Iron-Workers, Local 512, on file in t,he office of the City Clerk,

o ; This :femorandum of Settlement by and between the City of Saint Paul and T`win
City Iron Workers� , Local 522.
In full settZenent of 1979 negotiations, the parties hereto have agreed as
follows:
{1) Except as modified by the terms of this Memorandum, the
previous understandings between the parties shall remain
unchanged.
(2) Effective immediately, the rates of pay for the emplayees
represented by the Union shall be those set forth in
Appendix A.hereo£.
(3) Said rates, as well as all other understandings between the
parties, shall continue through April 30, 198I. It is
further understood that the wage rates ahall rema.in �.n
effect until the parties have agreed to other rates as part
of subsequent bargainfng, or until the understandings of the
parties have been.terninated by either. �
It is understood that the above settlement shall be recommended by the City
Negotiator, but is subject to the approval by the City Administration and
adoption by the City Council and Civil Service Commission.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City Negotiator has affixed his signature this 18th
day of June , 1979.
