Council Resolution Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date WHEREAS, the City has been an active participant in the Section 134 process since its inception and appreciates the cooperative atti- tudes that have been developed as a part of this process; and WHEREAS, the City supports and expects to rEmain actively in- volved in the existing "continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive" transportation planning process as set forth in th� Prospectus; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL: That it supports what it understands to be the general intent of 23USC150 that needs of larger and older cities be properly recog- nized in the obligation of FAU funds. That it believes that with the F.AU projects already obligated � together with those currently approved for FAU funding but not yet obligated, it has been fairly and equitably treated to date. That it generally supports the existing transportation planning process as set forth in the Prospectus and expects to remain an active participant in this process.
