SUBJECT: Appointment of Steve ellington to Administrative Aide III
I am recomznending the appointment of Stephen Wellington to the
pos,ition o� Admin,ist,rat�ve Aide II� in the l�layor' s Office.
He is currently a Budget Analyst IV in the Budget Section of the
Mayor' s Office.
S�,nce his original appointment to the Budget Analyst IV position,
Steve has taken on significantly increased responsibilities,
largely associated Frith the state lec�islature and our recently
highly successful municipal aid package. I believe you are all
aware of Steve 's outstanding contribution to the city in this
regard.
Given Steve' s expanded res�onsibilities and his superior work
� record, I am requesting that the City Council confirm his
appointment to the Administrative Aide position. This action
will not increase the FTE complement for the Mayor's Office in
1979 or 1980.
