WHEREAS, Phil Hall has announced his retirement as General
Secretary of the St. Paul Area YMCA after a long and dis-
tinguished career in the St. Paul YMCA, and
WHEREAS, Phil Hall has been a member and leader in numerous
civic and charitable organizations, giving unselfishly of his
time and efforts, and
WHEREAS, Phil Hall has worked tirelessly for the better-
ment of young people in the St. Paul metropolitan area, and
WHEREAS, Phil Hall will be honored at a special testimonial
dinner and program on June 26, 1979,
, � NOW, T�iEREFORE, be it resolved, that the City Council of
the City of St. Paul expresses its admiration and gratitude to
Phil Hall for his years of service and dedication by declaring
Tu�sday, June 26, 1979, as Phi1 Ha11 Day in St. Paul..
