RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a re-
lease in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
l. Bruce J. Young the sum of $210.60 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
March 21, 1979, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on April 5, 1979.
2. Mrs. Marion Clark the sum of $35. 00 in full settle-
ment of her claim of damages sustained on or about
March 11, 1979, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on May 22, 1979.
3. John G. Parkes the sum of $250 .00 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
February 21, 1979, as more particularly set out in
a communication to the City Council on March 29,
1979 .
4. American Family Insurance Group and LaVonne E. Hammer .
the sum of $54. 89 in full settlement of their claim
of damages sustained on or about August 28 , 1978,
as more particularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on January 23, 1979.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY BRUCE J. YOUNG; MRS. MARION CLARK;
JOHN G. PARKES; and AMERICAN FAMILY
INSURANCE GROUP and LaVONNE E. HAMMER
Claimant, Bruce J. Young, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public Works, vehicle on
March 21, 1979. Expenses are for the repair of the damages vehicle.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Young' s claim in the
amount of $210.60.
Claimant, Mrs. Marion Clark, requests reimbursement for Maplewood
paramedic cha�ges. Mrs. Clark was injured near Phalen Park on
March 11, 1979, and through a mix-up at the Fire Department the
Saint Paul paramedics were not dispatched. Mrs. Clark has been
advised that she would have been charged had the Saint Paul unit
answered her call. The office approves the settlement of Mrs. Clark's
claim in the amount of $35.00 in order to avoid a more costly
lawsuit.
Claimant, John G. Parkes, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , snow plow
on February 21 , 1979. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Parkes' claim
in the amount of $250.00.
Claimants, American Family Insurance Group and LaVonne E. Hammer,
request reimbursement for damages to Ms. Hammer 's vehicle. The
claimant had been the victim of a auto bomb and the City of
Saint Paul, Department of Police, in cooperation with the County
Attorney's office, reconstructed the bombing for evidence in the
court case. We have settled this case for haif thecdamages to
the vehicle. The remainder is to be paid by the County of Ramsey.
This office approves the settlement of their claim in the amount
of $54.89.
