WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul did approve the Three-Year
Community Development and Housing Plan, including the Community Development
Year V Application, January 9, 1979, Council File Number 272352; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the Mayor to submit
said Three-Year Community Development and Housing Plan, including the Corr�nunity
Development Year U Application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development in such form as prescribed by the regulations of said department; and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has completed
a thorough review of the City's Three-Year Community Development and Housing
Plan and the Community Development Year V Application and approved the City's
Three-Year Community Development and Housing Plan, including the Community Development
Year V Application,-with certain minor changes and conditions as stated in the
attached letter fram said department to Mayor George Latimer, dated May 25, 1979;
now, therefore, be..it
RESOLVED, thatrth� Council of the Ci�ty� of Saint Paul does hereby accept the
Community Development B1ock Grant for Year V, with all the conditions and terms
attendant thereto as contained in the attache� contract and letter from the U.S.
Department of Hous�-ng �nd Urban Development; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized and directed
to execute the grant agreement and contract between the City and the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block
Grant Year V Program.
