WHEREAS, the State and Federal governments have established a program
of energy audits for City-owned buildinqs; and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota administers the energy audit program; and
WHEREAS, the State and Federal governments provide grant funds to local
governments for performing and reporting energy audits; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul desires to promote energy conservation
by participation in the energy audit grant programs of the State and Federal
governments; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to
perform energy audits and to apply for and accept 5tate and Federal grant funds
for the performance of said audits; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That all departments and employees of the City shall
cooperate fully in the performance of the audit.
