proposed rule change would reduce the minimum job announcement posting time to at least five days on non-
promotional examinations.

promotional examinations. Tlus would allow an appointing authority to move mare quickly to recruit and hire
applicants in the current fiercely competirive job mazkeL, particulazly for those jobs that have been identified as
either hard to fill due a lack of qualified candidates, or where there is a highly comperitive environment for
qualified candidates.

members may lack proper notification.
