RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full to
the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the City
officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Mervin D. Anderson the sum of $400 .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about January 29 , 1979 , as more
particularly set out in a communication to the City Council on
February 13, 1979 .
2 . Ray Neudauer the sum of $376 .95 in full settlement of his claim
of damages sustained on or about June 25, 1979 , as more particu-
larly set out in a communication to the City Council on July 10 ,
1979 .
3. Mrs . Guama Abrams the sum of $66 .00 in full settlement of a
Conciliation Court judgment entered on July 5, 1979 .
4 . Farmers Insurance Group and Cynthia Taylor the sum of $322 .91 in
full settlement of their claim of damages sustained on or about
May 10 , 1979 , as more particularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on May 22, 1979 .

P�I E M O R A N D U M
Claims against City of Saint Paul by
Mervin D. Anderson; Ray Neudauer;
Mrs . Guama Abrams; and Farmers Insurance
Group and Cynthia Taylor
Claimant, Mervin D. Anderson, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, vehicle on
January 29 , 1979 . Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle
and medical bills incurred as a result of injuries Mr. Anderson
sustained in the accident. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. Anderson's claim in the amount of $400 .00 .
Claimant, Ray Neudauer, was involved in an automobile accident with
a City of Saint Paul , Bepartment of Public Works, vehicle on June 25,
1979 . Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle. This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Neudauer's claim in the amount
of $376 .95 .
Claimant, Mrs . Guama Abrams, was awarded a Conciliation Court judgment,
entered on July 5 , 1979 , in the amount of $500 .00 for return of money
being held by the City of Saint Paul, Department of Police. Through
a discrepancy, the Police Department actually only had $434 .00 . In
order to satisfy this judgment in full, this office approves the pay-
ment of $66 .00 to Mrs . Abrams.
Claimants, Farmers Insurance Group and Cynthia Taylor, request re-
imbursement for damages to Ms . Taylor' s automobile. Ms. Taylor was
involved in an automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul, Depart-
ment of Public Works , vehicle on May 10 , 1979 . Farmers Insurance
Group is her insurance carrier. This office approves the settlement
of their claim in the amount of $322 .91.
