PQRPOSE AND RP,T�QNAL� FflR THIS ACTION:
Utili-ty costs at .facilities in 'parks and recreation areas are substantially in
excess of those that were anticipated whenthe 1979 budget was prepared. The
attact�ed Resolution will provide an additional $59,928 to meet a part of the �
increased costs. Based on projections of current trends, additional funds '
beyond those provided by this transfer, will be needed before the end of the
year.
The source of the $59,928 is the balance remainir�g in a reserve of �200,000
for the Martin Luther King Clinic after a transfer of $140,072 was made to the
, Clinic on August 2, 1979, by Council Resolution Number 273440.
