- AN AGREEMENT, Dated the 2nd day of January, 1980, k�y and between the
MINNESOTA CRIME CONTROL PLANNING BOARD, hereinafter called "MCCP",
and the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, hereinafter called the "City"; ,

WITNESSETH: �
WHEREAS, The MCCP Board, in the interest of promoting cooperation between
� governmentol units of this State as provided for ur�der the Intergovernmental Personne!
�
Act (Minn. Stat. � 15.51 et seq.� has requested the City to authorize John W. Bolles�
�, an employee of the City presently assigned to its Police Department, to be assigned or�

temporory detail to the MCCP Board; and _ !
WHEREAS, The City is willing to authorize Mr. Bolles to be assigned on fiempom
detai I to the MCCP Board; and
WHEREAS, The Parties are expressly authorized, pursuant to the aforesaid stafiute,

to enter into an agreement temporarily detailir�g Mr. Bolles from the City to the MCCP
Board; �I
. NOW,THEREFORE, IT is agreed by and between the parties as follaws;
1 . That effective on the date f:rst stated above, the City, by and through its �i
Chief of Police, shall permit Mro Bolles to be deMiled to the MCCP Board; said deta�I

not to exceed the period of twenty-four (24) months from the date first stated above. �'�i
2o That while on assignment to the MCCP Board,.Mr. Bolles shall be paid ��'I
� directl b the MCCP Board through regular State of Minnesota payroll channels and

shall be eligible to participate in available State benefit progmms, specifically
� incfuding, but rbt limited to, retirement plans, insurance benefits, disability and
Workers' Comperuation benefits and vacation and sick leave planso I�I

3. That durirtg the period of time Mr. Bolles is detailed to the MCCP Board,
all seniority time ncquired by him and that which may be used for promotion purposes
within the Civil Service system of the City of Saint Paul prior to the date of this
agreemerrt shall be preserved.
4. That the terms and conditions of Mr. Bolles' detail b the MCCP Board from
the City shall be and remain consistent with the provisions of the Lntergovernmental
Personnel Act and all rules and regulotions of the State af Minnesota and its boards
and agencies.
