RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full to
the City Attorney, the proper City officers are hereby authorized
and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 ,
to:
1. Mary D. Herbst the sum of $509 .56 in full settlement of her claim
of damages sustained on or about September 19 , 1979 , as more
particularly set out in a communication to the City Council on
October 9 , 1979 .
2. William H. Halgren the sum of $66 .74 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about September 22, 1979 , as more
particularly set out in a communication to the City Council on
October 9 , 1979 .
3. John T. Joyce the sum of $22 .00 in full settlement of his claim
of damages sustained on or about July 3, 1979 , as more particu-
larly set out in a communication to the City Council on July 19 ,
1979 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY MARY D. HERBST, WILLIAM H. HALGREN,
AND JOHN T. JOYCE
Claimant, Mary D. Herbst, was involved in an automobile accident with
a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle on Septem-
ber 19 , 1979 . Expenses are .ft�r the repair of the damaged vehicle.
This office approves the settlement o.f Ms . Herbst's claim in the
amount of $509 .56 .
Claimant, William H. Halgren, requests reimbursement for the replace-
ment of one of his automobile tires which was damaged on September 22 ,
1979 , as a result of a pipe sticking out from a curb. This office
approves the settlement o.f Mr. Halgren' s claim in the amount of
$66 .74 .
Claimant, John T. Joyce, requests reimbursement for tar removal from
his automobile. The tar was spattered on his vehicle on July 19 ,
1979 . This office approves the settlement of Mr. Joyce 's claim in
the amount of $22 .00 .
