WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a
taacicab driver's license to successfully complete a taYicab driver training course as a prerequisite
for licensure; and
WHEREAS, § 37617(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license
wluch authorizes the driver to operate until the first a�ailable opening in a training class, at
which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and
WI�EREAS, Rick Crambilt was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of
LIEP and was notified of the taz�icab driver training course to begin on August 7, 2000, but failed
to attend and successfully complete the course; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID # 20000002533) issued to
Rick Crambilt is hereby revoked for failure to enroll in and successfixlly complete the required
taYicab driver training course.

The Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protecfion has recommended revocation
of your provisional operator status as a taacicab driver based upon your failure to enroil in and
successfully complete a taxicab driver training course, pursuant to Saint Paul legislative Code
§ 376.17(d). Enclosed is a copy of the proposed resolution.
Please take notice that a hearing has been scheduled before the Saint Paul City Council for 5:30
p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, Z000 in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, Saint
