WFIEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 37617(c) requires new applicants for a
taxicab driver's license to successfully complete a taacicab driver training course as a prerequisite
for licensure; and
WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) pernuts an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license
which authorizes the driver to operate until the first auailable opening in a training class, at
which time the applicant must enroil in and successfully complete the class; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Anderson was issued a grovisional operator license by the Office of
LIEP and was notified of the ta�cicab driver training course to begin on August 7, 2000, but failed
to attend and successfully complete the course; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 20000001497) issued to
Thomas Anderson is hereby revoked for failure to enroll in and successfully complete the
required taYicab driver training course.

successfully complete a tasicab driver training course, pursuant to Saint Paul legislative Code
§ 376.17(d). Enciosed is a copy of the proposed resolution.
Please take notice that a hearing has been scheduled before the Saint Paui Ciry Council for 5:30
p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2000 in the City Conncil Chambers, Third Floor, Saint
Paul City HalllRamsey County Courthouse. You wiil have an opportunity to address the
