WHEREAS, State law requires that amendments to the By-Laws of
the St. Paul Fire Department Relief Association shall be approved
by the City's governing body before becoming effective; and
WHEREAS, Certain amendments to the By-Laws of the St. Paul
Fire Department Relief Association as shown below, were adopted
by a referendum vote of the membership on November 22, 1978; and
WHEREAS, The action adopted by said referendum vote amended
Article VII2, Section 1, Sub. a, as follows:
a) The sum paid as a death benefit hereunder shall
increase each year hereafter in incriments of
$100. 00 per year until the sum payable as a death
benefit shall be A�e-�ke�sa��-���e-I�����e�-a�el
�ef�891s-{��T�98*98}-Be��a�s Two Thousand and
no/100 's ($2,OOO .DO) Dollars which shall be the
maximum sum payab e by reason of the death of a
member.
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby approve the above referenced amendment to the By-Laws of
the St. Paul Fire Department Relief Association.
