PAUL � DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES �� ASSESSMENT diVtS10N ������.�[�;� 113 CITY HALL ST.PAUL,MINNESOTA 55102 � February 1, 1980 File 18C88 Page The Council of the City of St. Paul will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court Aouse (third floor) at 10:00 A.M. on February 19, 1980 about the advisability of proceeding with Board of Water Commissioners Resolution No. 2955, approved December 19, 1979, which proposes to: _ install a public water main in East Morton Street from Robert Street to 140 feet East of Robert Street. The total estimated cost is $4,220.00 and will be financed as follows: Property Assessment $ 365.00 Water Utility Aid $3,855.00 TOTAL ESTIMATED COST $4,220.00 The property assessment funding is based on estimated assessment rates per assessable foot as follows: , One and T�ao �amily and Townhouse $7.30 per assessable foot Multiple �'amily, Business, Industry and Special $9.75 per assessable foot Those parcels of land with frontage on a temporary water main and not desiring a water service connection, when the temporary main is replaced, shall be excepted from the levy of the assessment u�on a 5pecific request of the� owner of the land. No future water connection shall be granted the subject parcel of land without the payment of an amount equal to the above indicated assessment rate, as levied at the time that the permanent main was installed. Requests for Deferment of this assessment shall be directed to the Department of Finance and Management Services by calling 298-4730. In addition, the City Technical Advisors will be available to meet with you and discuss this proposed im- provement in Room 286 City Hall from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. the same day as the hearing. J.
