WHEREAS, increased rent due to moving of the North End Health Center into
the North End Multi-Service Center, and unforeseen increased position costs at the
clinic have caused a budget deficit of $4,000 for the North End Health Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County share equally in the funding
of the Center; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has agreed to provide one-half of the deficit provided
that the City of Saint Paul provides an equal share;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that upon recommendation of the May�r and
pursuant to Section 10.07.04 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, there is hereby
transferred the following in the 1980 budget:

Contingent Reserve - General
09060-536-000 Transfer or Contribution
to Budget Fund $2,000.00
To: Public Health Clinical Programs
03215-219-000 To finance the deficit of
the North End Health Center $2,000.00

This resolution was passed in 1979 and transfer of funds was made. Department of Community
Services was not notified of such passage and also transfer of funds before end of fiscal year.
Unencumbered funds were transferred back to contingent fund.
