RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1. Farmers Insurance Group and Crosstown Refrigeration the sum
of $745.76 in full settlement of their claim of damages sus-
taa,ned on or about May 29, 1980, as more particularly set
out in a communication to the Ca,tX Council on June 19, 1980 .
2. John F. Knollmaier the suzn of $458 .0� a.n �'u11 settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about June 18, 1980, as
more particularly set out in communication to the City Council
on July 22, 1980 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP AND
CROSSTOWN REFRIGERATION; and JOHN F.
KNOLLMAIER
Claimant, Crosstown Refrigeration, requests reimbursement for
damages to one of its vehicles which was involved in an automobile
accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Police, vehicle
on May 29 , 1980 . The Police vehicle was being driven by George A.
Pickar. Farmers Insurance Group is the insurance carrier for
Crosstown Refrigeration and made payment to its insured as a re-
sult of this accident. This office approves the settlement of
their claim of damages in the amount of $745 .76 .
Claimant, John F. Knollmaier, requests reimbursement for damages
to his house which occurred when a rock was thrown by a lawn
mower being used by a City of Saint Paul, Department of Community
Services , employee. The incident occurred June 18 , 1980 . The
rock, about three inches in diameter, went through a window and
did damage to the inside of the house. This office approves the
settlement of Mr. Knollmaier's claim in the amount of $458 .00.
