RE50LUTION APPROVING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
FROM THE CONTINGENCY LINE ITEM OF UDAG
B-79-AA-27-0009 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF A PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH FIRST
MERCHANTS STATE BANK
UJHEREAS, the City ' s decision to reconfigure Reaney Street
pursuant to Final Order 274687 authoriz�ng Public Works Project
P-0836, as a part of the public improvements contemplated by
UDAG B-79-AA-27-0009 (East 5eventh Street) requires First
Merchants State Bank (Bank) to grade and resurface the Bank's
parking lot at the corner of Mendota Street and Reaney Street
at an estimated cost of $10, 410 .40; and
WHEREAS, the Bank is eligible for and will apply for a
$2, 000 Storefront Improvement Grant to pay a portion of this
cost, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul as
follows:
1) That $8,410.40 of the Contingency funds of UDAG
B-79-AA-0009 be allotted to help pay for the grading and
resurfacing of the Bank's parking lot.
2) That the proper officers of the City be and hereby
are authorized to execute a Participation Agreement with the
Bank to provide that the work be�done and that the UDAG
Contingency Funds and Storefront Improvement Grant funds
be us�d to pay for it.
