00-940OR1�INAL Presented By RESOLUTION F SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Council FIle # �O - � �G Green Sheet # �� 3 OS Referred To Committee: - Date WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has been accepted as a city eligible to bid for the International Institute of Municipal Clerks' (IIMC) annual conference in 2005; and WHEREAS, the IIMC Board of Directors will view presentations from 3 cities on November 16-18, 200o in Boston, Massachusetts; and WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is prepared to welcome the over 1100 expected CiCy Clerks from throughout the world to our beautiful city; and WHEREAS, the City is ready to host the conference at the new RiverCentre complex, the new Science Museum of Minnesota, and the newly renovated Harriet Island on the mighty Mississippi River; and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council fully supports the efforts to bring the International Institute of Muaicipal Clerks' 2Q05 Conference to the City of Saint Paul.
