WHEREAS: Proper notice has been received as to a change of the area for the service of
liquor for the Highland Inn, Inc. , holder of an On Sale Liquor License,
e.xpiring January 31, 1981, issued to them at 1870 Old Hudson Road, doing
business as the Ramada Inn, therefore, be it
RESOLVED: That with the new addition of 1�+9 rooms and banquet facilities, liquor will
be served in the lounge, dining room, bant�uet rooms and all 251 hotel rooms,
be and the same is hereby approved.

Mr. President and Honorable Members:
Highland Inn, Inc. (Bernice Riley, General Manager) currently
holds an On Sale Liquor License issued to them at 1870 Old Hudson
Road, doing business as the Ramada Inn.
They have requested that the area for the service of liquor
be increased to include their new addition. (149 rooms and banquet
facilities. )
This request has been reviewed by the License and Permit
Division. The recommendation is for approval.

Dear Mr. Carchedi:
Our Ramada Inn at 1870 Old Hudson Road, Incorporated in Minnesota as
Highland Inn, Inc. , is in the process of building an addition to make our
hotel a total of 251 rooms.
The banquet rooms of our existing property have been demolished and
new ones are being built. The l.ounge and dining room remain as is, the same
size as previous years.
We request that the Liquor Control Division and the City Council please
expand our license to include the additional rooms and expanded banquet
facilities.
Banquet rooms being available December 3, 1980, The additional guest
rooms being available starting January 5, 1981.
