WHEREAS, on August 23, 2000, the Saint Paul City Council held a public hearing
regarding Counci] File No. 00-776, a resolution ratifying assessments for grading and paving
alleys as part ofthe City's 1999 Pascal-Jefferson Project; and

WHEREAS, several property owners were present for the pubiic hearing but, through no
fault of their own, were unable to appear before the Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Council File No. 00-776 and duly adjourned the
Council session unaware that these property owners desired to be heard on the matter of ratifying
the said grading and paving assessments; and
VP#IEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, desires to
hold a public hearing so that these property owners may be heazd;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, hereby
amends Council File No. 00-776 by striking the rafification of the subject assessments therein �
with respect to the following properties:

properiy. Due to confusion they missed the public hearing and the City Council adjourned before the properiy
owners identified their desire to testify. This will give the property owners a chance to testify to the City Council
regarding the alley assessment.
