WHEREAS, Foreman & Clark has been a major, successful, retail business in St. Paul
since 1922, and
WHEREAS, T. C. Foreman has been ded3cated to the spirit of St. Paul by his many
civic and business contributions to our city, and
WHEREAS, T. C. Foreman is a person of age, stature, and devotion to family,
business and city, and
WHEREAS, T. C. Foreman is dedicated to our growth by his commitment to remain a
resident and businessman in St. Paul through construction, demolition, empty blocks
and revitalization, and
WHIItEAS, T. C. Forema.n and Foreman & Clark have become a landma.rk of historical
significance in St. Paul, and
WHEREAS, T. C. Foreman has been named Retailer of the Year, by the St. Paul Chamber
of Commerce, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby declares its appreciation, thanks and
gratitude to T. C. Foreman fox' his dedication, spirit and commi.tment to St. Paul,
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Counc�l hereby declares Tuesday, October 14, 1980, as
T. C. Foreman Day throughout the City of St. Paul.
