The Council of the City of St. Paul will hold a public hearing in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House (third floor) at 10:00 A.M. on
,Tune S, 1980 about the advisability of proceeding with the following City project;
Acquire permanent easements for street and highway purposes to open,
widen and extend West Seventh Street (City Project 80-P-0830R) at Kellogg
Blvd.. , over and across that part of Lot 9, Block 54, Rice and Irvines
Addition, lying within the following described lines and as shown on the
Department of Public Works opening Drawing No.. 2284, Drawer 4:
Commencing at the northeas,t corner of Lot 1, said Block 54; thence
southerly along the easterly li.ne of said Lots 1 and 9 (westerly line
of Main Stree.t) a distance of 182.30. feet to the point .of beginning of
the land to be described; thence southerly along the aforementioned
easterly line of said Lots 1 and 9 (westerly line of Main Street) a
distance of 88.37 feet to its intersection with the northeasterly line
of Kellogg Blvd. , as widened; thence northWesterly along the said north-
easterly line of Kellogg Blv,d. as widened a distance of 45.37 feet; thence
northeasterly deflecting 131°41' to the right a distance of 13.3 feet;
thence northeasterly deflecting 48'19' to the left a distance of 67.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
The total estimated cost of this acquisition is $40,000.00 and will be financed
completely by 1979 Minnesota State Aid funds.
If you wish detailed information regarding this proposed project, you are invited
to meet with the technical advisArs in the Council Chambers of City Hall (third
floor) at 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. the same day as the hearing or you may telephone
298-5317 for information.
While the City Charter requires that we notify you of this hearing, we want to help
you to learn fully about any improvement that could affect you or your com�unity.
