PAllL � DEPARTMENT�Of FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES - ASSESSMENT DIVISION 11 H CITY HALL ST.PAUI,MINNESOTA 55102 ���r��� A�� September 19, 1980 File 17938-A Page The Council of the City of St. Paul will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House (third floor) at 10:00 A. M. on October 7, 1980 to consider ratification of the assessment for the improvement described as constructing a public sanitary sewer in CHRISTIE PLACE from Germain Street to Kennard Street, also construct sewer service connections where necessary. City Project No. S-1604, approved December 8, 1977. This improvement has already been completed at a total cost of $25,087.19. The recommended assessment against the property described below is as follows: � Deferred Assessments: Any person 65 years old or older and homesteading property and which person meets the qualifications of hardship, as defined in Section 22.97 of the St. Paul Administrative Code may apply for deferred payment of Special Assessments. A hardship shall be deemed to exist when the average annual payment for all assessments exceeds 1% of the Adjusted Gross Income of the applicant, as shown on the most recent Federal Income Tax Return. For further information, call 298-5125. Appeal from Assessment; Within twenty days after an order adopting the assessment, any person may appeal to the District Court by filing a notice of appeal with the City Clerk stating the grounds upon which the appeal is taken. Such notice shall be filed with the Clerk of the District Court within ten days after the filiing with the City Clerk. (Charter Section 14.01.4) Failure to file the required notices within the times specified shall forever prohibit an appeal from the assessment.
