275706 WHITE - CITY CLERK jj'��yy�� µµyy,,��^A PINK - FINANCE n �J /���` CANARY - DEPART G I T Y O F S A I N T 1 A U L COUIICII � � V BLUE - MAYO File N . uncil Resolut�on Presented �1--� Referred To Committee: Date � Out of Committee By Date WHEREAS, The General Maintenance Company, 563 Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, must conform to the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Saint Paul= and WHEREAS, The City's Department of Planning and Economic De- velopment is attempting to assist the company in relocating its place of business to such a site where such a firm may lawfully conduct all of its business activities; and WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul desires to assist the General Maintenance Company on a limited basis for ninety days; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a limited Lease Agreement with the General Maintenance Company for said firm' s storage of commercial vehicles on a portion of the Hopkins School parking site; said Agreement being for a period of ninety days and conditioned upon the filing of the proper insurance indemnifying the City of Saint Paul against any claims arising out of such storage. A G R E E M E N T THIS IS AN AGREEMENT, Dated this 25th day of September, 1980, by and between the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, Minnesota, hereinafter re- ferred to as "City" , and JOSEPH VASQUEZ, of General Maintenarce Company, 563 Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, hereinafter re- ferred to as "Tenant" ; WITNESSETH: IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY AND TENANT AS FOLLOWS : l. That for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the City does hereby lease to Tenant that portion of the City' s land known as the "Hopkins Playground Site" , legally described as Lots 7, 8, and 9, Block 3, Brunson Addition, and as more particularly set forth on the attached map and shaded in green thereon; said map being a part of this Agreement and at- tached hereto as Exhibit A. 2 . That this lease sha11 ccmmence the date first above-written and exp=re ninety (90) caiendar days thereafter and, fur�her, nothing in tnis Agreermen+� sha11 be construed as making any repre- sentation to Tenant as to its lease of the above-described property beyond said unit of time. � � �`�'S'�0� � � a 3 a' � 3 . That it shall be Tenant' s responsibility to keep the leased premises during the term of this Agreement in a clean and sanitary a� � condition. � 7.
