WHEREAS, the Council did consider and adopt an ordinance
amending Chapter 342 of the St. Paul Legislative Code pertaining
to second hand goods; and
WHEREAS, it appears the amendments to Chapter 342 as adopted
did not fairly represent the legislative intent of the Council;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Council of the City
of St. Paul to repeal those amendments to Chapter 342 contained in
Council File 275440, Ordinance 16693, as passed August 28, 1980,
and substitute amendments contained in the ordinance introduced
herewith.
