RESOLUTION CANCELING SPECIAL MEETING
AND POSTPONING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED FINANCING PROGRAM FOR THE
SELBY-DALE COOPERATIVE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on November 4, 1980 the City Council passed a Resolution calling for a
Special Meeting on November 14, 1980 to hold a Public H�aring on the proposed Financing
Program for the Selby-Dale Cooperative Project; and
WHEREAS, the required Notice of Publication did not get into the paper in sufficient
time to meet the 10 day notice requirement,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT' RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul:
1. That the Special Meeting called for November 14, 1980 be cancelled.
2. That the Public Hearing on the proposed Financing Program for the Selby-Dale Cooperative
Project be postponed until the regular Council meeting on November 18, 1980.
3. That the Notice of Public Hearing be published in the official newspaper of the City
of Saint Paul 10 days or more prior to the date of Public Hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL
FOR A PROGRAM TO FINANCE A MULTI-F/�MILY
OWNER OCCUPIED COOPERATIVE HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT (SELBY-DALE.COOPERATIVE)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota wiIl -
meet at the City Council Chamber, City Hall in the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota at 10:00 o'clock
a.m. on November 18, 1980, to consider the proposal of the Community Development Corporation
for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, that the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota ("HRA") assist in financing a development hereinafter described
by the issuance of housing revenue bonds.

DECRIPTION OF DEYELOPMENT .
. = The development consists of the construction of a muiti-family owner-occupied
: cooperative housing development of approximately 84 townhouses and apartment
units, 30% of which will be Section 8 assisted, together with parking facilities
which are functionally related and subordinate thereto. The development -
is located on the north side of the Selby-Dale intersection in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
The estimated principal amount of bonds or other obligations to be issued to finance
the development is $4,000,000.
� � Said bonds or other obligations if and when issued will�not constitute a cha�ge, lien or
encumbrance upon any property of the HRA or the City of Saint Paul (the "City"):except the
project and such bonds or obligations will not be a charge against the HRA or the City's general
credit or taxing powers but are payable from sums to be paid by-the developers pursuant to,
a revenue agreement.. � �
A draft copy of the proposed housing finance program, together with all attachments
and exhibits thereto, are available for public inspection beginning Nuvember 4, 1980, from 9 o'clock
a.m. to 4 o'clock p.m., Monday through Friday, at the offices of the Renevval Division, Department
of Planning and Economic Development, City Nal! Annex, 12th floor. �
At the time and place fixed for said Public Hearing, the City Council of the City of Saint
Aaul, Minnesota will give all persons who appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their
views with respect to the proposal.
