Commission copies of a petition to amend the charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk must verify the signatures on said
petition; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts delivery
of said petition; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the petitions are hereby
transmitted to the City Clerk for verification of the signatures.

Charter dividing the City of Saint Paul into seven separate dis-
tricts has been checked by this office . The petition consisted of

I certify that the petition is insufficient and found defective
for the following reasons :

foregoing petition is insufficient in nw-aber of �+00 regis�ered voters .
