The Public Works Department has determined that the area in question is in excess of the land needed the intersection. A map of the area of the proposed vacation is enclosed, as well as a legal description. Should the City's interest in the area be vacated, the property will likely be soid to the abutting properry owner. We need to know if any City departments have a need for this property before the City can vacate or convey its interest.
