RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, two appli-
cations to the State of Minnesota through the Land Commissioner of
Ramsey County, for conveyance of certain tax forfeited lands for
use by the City of Saint Paul for storm water ponding and drainage
purposes; description of the tax forfeited land is as follows:
Auditor's Subdivision No. 6�+, St. Paul, Minn.
(Subject to Trunk Highway No. 280), part Southerly of
Kasota Avenue of Lot 2.

Without right of access to Trunli Highway No. 280, that .
part of the East One-half of the Northwest One-quarter
of the Northwest One-quarter lying north of the Railroad
right-of-way of the Minnesota Belt Line Railroad and of
the Minnesota Transfer Railway Company which lies South-
westerly of a line 75 feet Southwesterly from and parallel
to the following described line: Beginning at a point on
the North Line of Section 2g, distant 868.84 feet East of
the Northwest corner thereof; thence run Southeasterly to
a point on the Northeasterly right-of-way line of the
Minnesota Transfer Railway Company, distant 360 feet
Northwesterly of the East Line of the Northwest One-quarter
of the Northwest One-quarter of said Section 29, (when
measured along said Nor�heasterly right-of-way line) in
Section 29, Township 29, Range 23.

SUBJECT: Kasota @ T.H. 280 - Tax Forfeit Land Use Deed
Request that your office obtain a Use Deed on the tax forfeit parcel of
land located southwesterly of Kasota and T.H. 280. This area is to be
temporarily utilized for storm water ponding and drainage purposes until
such time as the St. Anthony Park Sewer System is fully operational west
of T.H. 280. The parcel required is outlined in blue on the attached
plan.
