RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL,
MINNESOTA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN
APPLICATION FOR AN URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FOR
THE MINNEAPOLIS-SAINT PAUL FAMILY HOUSING FUND
WHEREAS, Saint Paul is eligible for grant assistance under the Urban Development
Action Grant Program (UDAG) of the Community Development Act of 1977; and
WHEREAS, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Family Housing Fund Project has been reviewed
and approved by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the required public hearings upon said application have been held;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the
filing of the Application for an Urban Development Action Grant for the Minneapolis-
Saint Paul Family Housing Fund Project and the project and activities therein
proposed, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mayor George Latimer, as Chief Executive Officer of the
City, is hereby authorized and directed to submit the Urban Development Action Grant
Application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development in such form as
prescribed by the regulations of said Department; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the P�layor, or his designated representatives, is further
authorized to execute and submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development any assurance, certifications, or additional information that may be
required by said Department during their review of the City's Urban Development
Action Grant and Application for Federal Assistance.
