THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES OR.DAIN: Section 1. That Sections 39 . 01 and 39.02 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: 39 .01. Authority, eligibility. Pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 63, Laras of Minnesota 1977, bi-weekly payroll deductions e�-$�.-88-e�-x�e�e may be requested by employees for the purpose of donations to nonprofit entities selected by the employee. Only those non- profit entities for which at least 50 employees have petitioned for payroll deduction contributions shall be eligible for this employee selection. 39 .02 . Application, contract. Bi-weekly deductions �� l�e-a�tett�t-e�-$�.-98-e�-r�e�e may be requested upon the written application submitted by the employee request- ing and authorizing the city to deduct certain sums from his salary on a monthly basis and to submit pay- ment thereof to the designated nonprafit entity. The application shall be signed on behalf of the city by the director of the employee 's department. The written application shall constitute the written contract re- quired by said Chapter 63.
