RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a zelease in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Marie E. Holen the sum of $47.00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about February 23 , 1980 ,
as more particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on May l, 1980 .
2. Joanne Fredericks the sum of $36 .00 in fu11 settl,ement of .
her claim of damages sustained on or about December 1, 1979 ,
as more particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on April 22 , 1980 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY MARIE E. HOLEN AND JOANNE FREDERICKS
Claimant, Marie E. Holen, requests reimbursement for replacement
of her eye glasses which were damaged when she fell on the side-
walk at the corner of Hall and East Stevens Streets (37 West
Stevens) . We have been informed by the Department of Public Works ,
Sidewalk Division, that asphalt was placed at this location on
March 4 , 1980 , after receiving a complaint from the D�ayor's
Complaint Office. This office approves the settlement of Ms. Holen's
claim in the amount of $47.00 .
Claimant, Joanne Fredericks , requests reimbursement for towing
and storage charges incurred when her vehicle was mistakenly towed
to the Saint Paul Police Department Impound Lot. This office
approves the settlement of Ms. Fredericks ' claim in the amount of
$36 .00 .
