Madam President and
Members of the City CoLmcil
RE: 732 E. Lawson Avenue
C,ARAGE ONLY
File #3663
Honorable Cotmcil:
The 17ivision of Housing and Building Code Enforcement is hereby submitting its
report on the condition of the strwcture at the location referred to above.
The owners of record are the fee owners Warren R. and Janet M. Johnson, P. 0.
Box #547, Willernie, Minnesota 55090.
The legal description of the property is Lot 2, Biock 13, Arlington Hills Add.ition
Blocks 1 thru 40/45 thru 49.
The building is a garage .and has not been secured by the owner or the City.
This building is open and structurally weak. City Building inspector Richard Amey
evaluates the garage as ready to fall over.
Inasmu+ch as the conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard and the owner
has made no attempt to satisfactorily repair the damage despite our warnings, and
the continued va.cant and hazardous condition contributes a blighting influence on
the neighborhood, it is the recommendation of this Division that this ma.tter be
referred to the City Attorney's office for razing and remova.l through District
Court proceedings.

Yours truly,
