The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

The Council of the City of St.� Paul will hold a public heari.ng in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House (third floor) at 10:00 A.M. on
May 27, 1980 about the advisability of proceeding with the following
� City project:
• Improve PAYNE AVENUE from Hopkins Street to Edgerton Street and
COLLINS STREET from Burr Street to Payne Avenue by constructing,
where necessary, concrete median islands,�.eon�rete curb, side-
walks, .driveways, bituminous overlaq, ornamental lights, and
traff ic signals.
Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including ri�ht of removal of lateral support from
sub3ect land or remainder thereof occasioned by excavations thereof
or construction of slopes in the grading of COLLINS STREET from
Burr Street to Payne Avenue.
The total estimated cost of this project is $233,700.00 and will be financed as
follows:
1980 County Aid Funds $148,400.00
1980 Public Improvement Aid Funds 10,300.00
1980 Capital Improvement Budget Funds 20,000.00
C.D. Year 6 Funds � 55,000.00
Total $233,700.00
If you wish detailed information regarding this proposed project, qou are invited
to meet with the technical advisors in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
(third floor) at 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. the same day as the hearing, or you may tele-
phone 298-5311. .
While the City Charter requires that we notify qou of this, hearing, we want to
help you to learn fully about any improvement that could affect you or your com-

make your views about it known to the City Council, whether for or against.
